The coolant pump may malfunction and stop the coolant flow, causing the engine to overheat quickly and subsequently break an engine-mounted plastic elbow in the cooling circuit. Coolant can leak onto the turbocharger’s heat shield, creating a risk of fire in the engine compartment.

The Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 2018 – 2022.
