Land Rover Defender (2020 – 2021)

Land-Rover-Defender-2021-front-seats

When the manually adjustable front seats are moved as far forward as possible, for example, when moving the front seats forward rapidly to allow access to the second-row seats, the front seat slide end supports may become deformed over time. As a result, the seats could be positioned too far and the driver may not be able to touch the pedals, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Land Rover Defender vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 4 December 2020 and 9 April 2021.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
