Jaguar F-Pace PHEV (2022 – 2023)

Jaguar-F-Pace-2022-phev-engine-not-start

Following a software problem with the powertrain control module (PCM), it is possible that the internal combustion engine will not start at the right time when the vehicle is in motion and operating in electric vehicle (EV) mode only. When the EV system is no longer capable of propelling the vehicle, the vehicle slows down unexpectedly and it is impossible to drive it, thus increasing the risk of an accident.

The Jaguar F-Pace PHEV vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 25 October 2022 and 2 October 2023.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
