1. A short circuit in the hydraulic electronic control unit (HECU) housing may occur. This could cause a fire in the engine compartment.

The Hyundai Genesis vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 9 June 2013 and 9 March 2020.

2. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) may have an electrical defect. This could result in a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire.

The Hyundai Genesis vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2016.
