Due to improper adjustment of the assembling equipment, some springs were installed in the rear seat belt retractor locking mechanisms in a bent state.
As a result, the seat belt may not be locked when it is pulled out quickly, increasing the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
The Honda HR-V (RU1) models affected by this recall were manufactured in the first half of 2020.
