Honda CR-V (2023 – 2024)

Honda-CR-V-2023-2024-electronic-fire

Due to an incorrect marking, the connecting system may have been fitted to the wrong vehicle. In the event of a rear-end collision, the connecting system can come into contact with the Intelligent Power Unit (IPU). This creates a risk of short-circuit in the high-voltage grid, potentially leading the vehicle to catch fire.

The Honda CR-V E:HEV and E:PHEV vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 1 April 2023 and 1 March 2024.

Honda recall code: 6LV
Affected models: CR-V E:HEV, CR-V E:PHEV
Vehicle numbers (worldwide): 642

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
