The fuse for the electronic Run On Water Pump (ROWP) is inadequate and will not prevent it from overheating in case of failure.
This will lead to the melting of the pump body and wiring, increasing the risk of fire.
The Ford Transit Custom models affected by this recall were manufactured between 2 May 2016 and 4 May 2020.
