The original control arm bolts on the rear suspension are prone to corrosion, which may cause them to fail.

As a result, the steering control of the vehicle will be impaired, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Ford S-Max models affected by this recall were manufactured between 20 January 2015 and 18 February 2020.
