The nuts connecting the high-pressure lines between the fuel pump and the injector nozzles may not have been correctly tightened. Over time, they could become detached, leading to a fuel leak. Consequently, leaking diesel could come into contact with the exhaust manifold, the turbocharger, or the catalyst, thereby increasing the risk of fire.
