The tailgate locking mechanism is defective and could break. This may result in sudden opening of the tailgate while the vehicle is in motion and pieces of luggage falling onto the road, increasing the risk of an accident.
The Dodge RAM models affected by this recall were manufactured between 31. 5. 2014 – 21. 11. 2018.
