Citroen C4 (2024)

Citroen-C4--brake fluid-leak

The aluminium of the EBS valve block may not fully cast around the valves. This can lead to an internal leak of brake fluid (from one or more of the 12 valve seats) resulting in a reduction of the fluid level and the deactivation of stability control due to damage to the pressure sensor. The brake fluid could come into contact with the printed circuit board and result in the deactivation of all control functions (including the anti-lock system and electronic brake force distribution).

The Citroen C4 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 29 May and 5 June 2024.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
