The propellant in the driver and passenger airbags can deteriorate due to high humidity and temperature variations. If the airbag deploys, fragments from the inflator could cause injuries to the vehicle’s occupants.

The Citroen C3 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 9 April 2009 and 16 January 2017.
