Citroen C-Croser (2007 – 2009)

citroen-c-crosser-2008-recall

Two different recalls because of different defects, on partially overlapping vehicle production periods.

In all vehicles, silicone grease may have contaminated the brake lamp switch contacts; this can prevent the stop lamps operating when the footbrake is applied.

In vehicles produced between 01/11/2007 to 29/05/2009, the defective material of the accessory drive belt could damage the pulleys, which may result in faulty warning lamp illumination, battery depletion, loss of power steering and engine overheating.

The recall concerns vehicles manufactured between 16/04/2007 and 01/06/2009 with VINs from VF7VV4HNH8U950205 to VF7VV4HNH9Z952952.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
