A folded or torn anode tab can lead to the formation of lithium by-products. Combined with a second factor, this can result in an internal short circuit in the high-voltage battery pack, leading the vehicle to catch fire.

The Chrysler Pacifica vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 12 August 2016 and 7 August 2018
