The fuel injectors may not have been equipped with a decoupling element. This could result in a vibration fracture at the soldering point of the high-pressure fuel rail.
Consequently, fuel could leak into the engine compartment, increasing the risk of fire.
The BMW M4 models affected by this recall were manufactured between 28 February and 14 October 2020.
