During the charging process, the high/voltage battery may overheat due to a defect in the battery modules. This can result in a fire and cause injuries to occupants and bystanders.

The Audi A7 TFSI-e vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 21 January 2021 and 21 Auguat 2023.
