The power supply to components of the ABS/ESP control unit may fail. This could lead to the vehicle stability control function not working when required in dynamic driving situations, such as over-steering, under-steering or emergency braking.
The recall concerns vehicles manufactured between May 2008 and May 2009 (model year 2009).
