Tesla is recalling 23,227 Model 3 and 6,765 Model S and Model X vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023. The reason for the recall is that the failure of the reversing camera leads to deviation from UN-ECE Regulation 158.
Remedy: OTA (Over the Air) software update to version 2023.44.30.7 (or later).
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “13709, 13540”. The internal manufacturer code is “SB-24-00-002”.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
