Suzuki is recalling 15,890 vehicles of the Vitara and SX4 S-Cross model series manufactured in 2024. The recall is due to an incorrect detection of a fault in the power steering control unit which may result in the power steering being switched off.
At an authorised workshop, the software for the power steering control unit is updated.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15521R“. The internal manufacturer code is “97DS“.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
