Porsche is recalling 1,523 911 vehicles manufactured between 16 February 2023 and 13 September 2023 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the rear outer seat belt buckles were not screwed in sufficiently. It cannot be ruled out that they may come loose in the event of an accident.
At an authorized workshop, the rear seat belt buckles and the screw connections will be checked. The aluminum butyl mat will be revised, and the screws will be tightened as necessary.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14820R“. The internal manufacturer code is “ASA0“.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
