Peugeot recalls several models due to battery software fault

Peugeot is recalling 23,704 Partner, 2008, Expert, 208, Rifter and Expert Traveller vehicles manufactured between 10 May 2022 and 31 March 2023 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that software errors in the battery management system can lead to starting difficulties and failure of the drive while driving.

In an authorized workshop, the battery software will be updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14993R“. The internal manufacturer code is “MV4“.
