Peugeot Partner: The tyre load capacity is lower than the maximum rear load

peugeot-partner-maximum-load-tyres-kba

Peugeot is currently recalling 9,542 Partners built between 2022 and 2023 worldwide. Of these, 254 vehicles are in Germany. The reason for the recall is that the tyre load capacity is lower than the technically permissible maximum rear load. This can lead to overloading of the rear wheels and consequently to a tyre burst.

In the workshop, the CoC documents of the affected vehicles are replaced with corrected CoC documents. The manufacturer sticker with the index load is replaced. The national registration documents (vehicle licence) are replaced.

The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “013027” and the internal manufacturer code is “MGF“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
