Peugeot 3008 and 5008: Cracks in the frame can lead to loss of control

Peugeot-3008-2024-praskliny-ram-havarie

Peugeot is recalling 1,961 3008 and 5008 vehicles manufactured in 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the subframe support bracket may have been damaged during production and may show cracks. There is a risk of weakening of the structural integrity, which can lead to a loss of control of the vehicle.

In an authorized workshop, the subframe support bracket will be checked and, if necessary, repaired.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14469R“. The internal manufacturer code is “MTZ“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
