Peugeot is recalling 2,055 208 vehicles built between 2019 and 2023 worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the hydrocarbon concentration (HC) of the EB2FA engine exceeds the legal limits of Regulation (EU) 2017/1151 and 2018/1832.
Replacement of the fuel tank purge valve (CPV) and/or replacement of the fuel line will be carried out in the workshop.
The monitoring of the recall action by the KBA is under investigation. The recall under the reference number is “013301” and the internal manufacturer code is “MHN“.
