Opel Corsa and Mokka: Steering gear can cause stiff steering

Opel is recalling 6,667 Corsa and Mokka vehicles manufactured in 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is steering gear that does not meet specifications and can lead to stiff steering and, in the worst case, to a blocked steering system.

In an authorized workshop, the steering gear will be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14304R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “KMZ“.
