Opel is recalling 1,896 Astra GS Line vehicles manufactured in 2022 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that it is possible that the cruise control with distance control cannot be activated and the emergency brake assistant engages unexpectedly.
An authorised workshop will check whether there is a metal sticker in the detection area. If so, this sticker will be removed.
The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “013442“. The internal manufacturer code is “KJV“.

This notification is purely informative for the vehicle type you have selected. As these deficiencies often relate to specific components (engine type, bodywork, equipment), the recall may not apply to all vehicles of this type. For more detailed information on possible recalls for your vehicle, please contact an authorised workshop (see below at “What the owner should do?”).
What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
