Worldwide, more than 285,000 Nissan Micra manufactured in the production period 5. 12. 2016 to 5. 10. 2021 has to return to the workshop. The measure is because the rear stopper of the lower seat rail can break under heavy continuous load in extreme cases. This can cause the driver’s seat to slide out of its original position.
The seat rail is replaced in the workshop to ensure the necessary seat locking again, especially in an accident scenario. The workshop visit will take about 50 minutes. The repairs are expected to start in June, and the internal code is “R22D6“.
