Mini is recalling 146,687 Cooper vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a high-voltage battery may short-circuit, resulting in a fire hazard.

In an authorised workshop, the control unit is programmed.
