Mercedes GLE and GLS: Possible engine failure

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 260,658 GLE and GLS SUVs manufactured between 2018 and 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a software error in the transmission control unit can lead to engine failure, which increases the risk of an accident.
