Loss of steering ability with 95,000 Peugeot SUVs 3008 and 5008

Peugeot is recalling 95,767 vehicles of the 3008 and 5008 model series manufactured between 24. 7. 2023 and 28. 2. 2025. The reason for the recall is a missing screw connections between the ball joint mount and the wishbone which may cause the wheel to turn sideways and restrict steering ability, or even result in a loss of steering ability.

The marking on the left and right ball joint mountings will be checked and replaced if necessary at an authorized workshop.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is monitoring the recall under reference number “15847R” The manufacturer’s internal code is “MYV
