Koenigsegg Jesko: The hydraulic fluid can escape and ignite

Koenigsegg-Jesko-fire-kba

Koenigsegg is recalling 26 Jesko vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the hydraulic pressure hoses at the rear of the vehicle can be damaged and hydraulic fluid can escape. This may ignite on hot parts and lead to a vehicle fire.

In an authorized workshop, the hydraulic hoses are replaced and the hose routing is changed.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14022R“. The internal manufacturer code is “REC24251“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
