Kia recalls 36,288 EV9s for missing seat fastening screws

Kia is recalling 36,288 vehicles of the EV9 model series manufactured between 2023 and 2024. The reason for the recall are missing seat fastening screws in all rows of seats that can impair the safety of the vehicle occupants.

At an authorised workshop, all seat fastening screws are checked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15002R“. The internal manufacturer code is “251010“.
