Kia is recalling 7,120 Niro and Soul models of the 2020 model year back to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the measure is a coolant leak in the electrical power control unit, which can lead to a loss of driveability.
In the workshop, the EPCU is checked for internal leakage according to the CTI and replaced if leakage is confirmed. The KBA is monitoring the recall under the reference number “012754” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “231008“.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
