Mercedes-Benz recalls 19,420 vehicles with the models A-Class, B-Class, CLA and GLA, produced from 2014 to 2017 and equipped with OM607 Euro 6 engine, to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the measure is an impermissible defeat device or reduction in the effectiveness of the emission control system. In Germany, 1,807 vehicles are affected.
The workshop’s remedy is not yet known. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012555”, and the internal code is “5499024”.
