Hyundai Santa Fe: Cable pinch
The wiring harness mounted under the bench seat can be damaged by being pinched by the seat hinge when it is folded down in more than 5,000 Hyundai Santa Fe, manufactured between March and July 2024. This can lead the curtain airbag not to work in the event of an accident.
Audi and Aston Martin: Fire risk
A fault in the high-voltage battery cells could cause a short circuit and subsequent fire in 6,103 Audi vehicles e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT cars built between 2020 and 2024. Aston Martin recalls 4,444 DB12, DBX and Vantage cars built between 2022 and 2024. The reason for the recall is that the oil hose on the engine cooler may rupture and large quantities of oil may escape. There is a risk of engine failure and fire.
Chevrolet: Airbags
Chevrolet recalls nearly 350,000 older models Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Orlando and Chevrolet Trax produced between 2008 and 2017. The propellant in the driver airbag inflator may degrade over time. If the airbags deploy, inflator fragments may injure occupants in the car. In recent weeks, millions of cars of other brands have been recalled due to Takata airbags.
