hyundai-h1-fire-risk-kba

Hyundai is recalling 50,814 vehicles of the H1 model series manufactured between 18. 8. 2010 and 22. 11. 2018. The reason for the recall is a faulty electrical connection to the generator that can cause a thermal reaction in the fuse box and thus lead to a fire.

At an authorised workshop, the affected electrical cable and connection nut must be replaced, or only the connection nut.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14862R“. The internal manufacturer code is “41D185“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
