Jeep is recalling 212,967 vehicles of the Grand Cherokee model series manufactured between 19. 12. 2012 and 13. 10. 2019. The reason for the recall is a failure of the high-pressure fuel pump that can lead to loss of drive.

At an authorised workshop, the high-pressure fuel pump will be replaced and the fuel system will be checked. If necessary, additional components of the fuel system will be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15215R“. The internal manufacturer code is “Z46“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
