Peugeot is recalling 1,659 vehicles of the 3008, 408, 5008, and 308 model series manufactured between 4. 5. 2023 and 22. 1. 2025. The recall is due to the fuel line that may rub against the ignition coil screw, causing a fuel leak and fuel to escape. There is a risk of fire.

At an authorised workshop, a cable tie is fitted between the low-pressure fuel line and the ignition coil.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15102R“. The internal manufacturer code is “MWY“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
