Ford is recalling 18,228 Focus models built in 2023 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the measure is an incomplete riveting of the rear seat belt buckle, which can lead to an impairment of the restraint effect. Affected belts can come loose in the event of an accident.
The seat belt buckle is inspected in the workshop and replaced if necessary. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012927” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “23S31“.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
