Opel is recalling 1,083 vehicles of the Corsa, Grandland, and Mokka model series manufactured in 2024. The reason for the recall is that the telematics control unit cannot establish a connection to the remote server, causing the e-Call system and the speed limiter to fail.
For the same reason, Citroen is recalling 218 vehicles of the C4, C4 X, and C5 Aircross model series and Peugeot 189 208, 2008,and 5008 models. All of them were also produced in 2024.
At an authorised workshop, the 12V battery is disconnected and connected. The fault codes are read out and deleted.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “14721R, 14833R, 14837R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “KQW“ for Opel, “NR7“ for Citroen, and “MVT“ for Peugeot.

Opel is recalling 1,202 vehicles of the Combo, Corsa, Vivaro and Zafira model series manufactured in 2024. The reason for the recall is a faulty telematics control unit that can lead to failure of the e-Call system and the speed limiter. The battery can be discharged.
The same fault may also be present in 967 Peugeot 2008, 208, Expert, Partner, Rifter, Traveller and 611 Citroen Berlingo, C3, C4, C4 X, Jumpy, and Spacetourer vehicles. All were also produced in 2024.
At an authorised workshop, the autonomous telematics box is replaced.
