Lexus is recalling 500 UX vehicles manufactured in 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that incorrectly routed cables within the main wiring harness can be damaged and interrupt the power supply to the motor control unit. As a result, the drive may fail.
In an authorized workshop, the wiring harness will be checked and replaced if necessary.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14265R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “24SD-100“.
