Dodge is recalling 180,108 RAM vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the fault and/or short circuit on the steering column control module circuit board can lead to unintentional signalling or activation of the high beam.
In an authorised workshop, the SCCM software is updated, the control module and steering column are checked, and the control module is replaced if necessary.
The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “013531“. The internal manufacturer code is “B2A“.

What the owner should do?
If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
