The brake failure with Rolls-Royce Spectre

Rolls-Royce-Spectre-2023-2024-brake-failure

Rolls-Royce is recalling 2,172 Spectre vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a signal fault in the engine position sensor can lead to a failure of the hydraulic brake force assistance. ABS and DSC are not available, which may result in a longer braking distance.

In an authorized workshop, the brake system will be checked and repaired.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “13607“. The internal manufacturer codes are “0034830200“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
