Possible blockage of the hydraulic system with Land Rover

Land-Rover-Range-Rover-phev-hydraulic-system-kba

Land Rover is recalling 424 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport (PHEV) vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall are clutch discs in the hybrid transmission that do not comply with the specification, can contaminate the transmission oil and cause the hydraulic system to block, resulting in a loss of drive.

The automatic transmission is checked and replaced if necessary at an authorised workshop.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14250R“. The internal manufacturer code is “N903“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
