Aston Martin is recalling 4,444 DB12, DBX, and Vantage vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the oil hose on the engine cooler may rupture and large quantities of oil may escape. There is a risk of engine failure and fire.

In an authorized workshop, the oil hoses for the oil cooler are replaced.

Note: There are 9 known cases of ruptured oil cooler hoses. No known personal injuries or accidents.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14330R“. The internal manufacturer code is “RA-03-1973“.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
