Up to 400,000 older Mustangs may have corroded seat belt mounts

Ford is recalling 405,963 vehicles of the Mustang model series manufactured between 14. 2. 2014 and 2. 10. 2017. The reason for the recall is a corrosion on the seat belt anchorage which may increase the risk of injury in the event of an accident.

At an authorized workshop, the belt anchorage cables are checked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is monitoring the recall under reference number “15849R” The manufacturer’s internal code is “25S92
