    Volvo V60 D3 R design 2012 Estate.
    112.000 miles -5 cylinder – 2.0 litre engine.

Mysterious Coolant loss but cannot be located??

Coolant air lock issue in the cooling system ongoing.

Had this car since 2018 at 102,000 miles.
Dont do much mileage however car is taken on long journey every week to clear the coking up of the dpf.

Has developed a coolant loss issue which even when the coolant pressure test has been performed Engine running and not running and static not driven. Overnight cool down aswell, no pressure loss is detected in the system or very very minimal.

Up to a litre is lost every 20 miles.

Can only think pressure build up and escaping via system vent due to airlock.

low coolant light comes on and a need to refill the header tank.
or, when header cap is removed air sucked back into system and header tank fills up on its own.

No head gasket, heater matrix radiator, water pump gaskets etc. issues. no water in oil. no oil in water

Many owners are discussing this issue on forums worldwide.

    I own a 2019 V60T5R.
I purchased the vehicle 2019 extras were rubber mats, privacy glass and spray suppression equipment all round as well as full winter pack and spare wheel as I am not a lover of run flats or the glue injection system .
To date I’ve had no issues with the vehicle and only use comfort mode and on occasion dynamic .
First time used eco drive and had to brake firmly owing to a pedestrian and dog stepping from footway on to road .
Hazard warning system failed to operate and thereafter touch screen shut down trying to reboot itself when it eventually rebooted three warnings displayed
1 reverse park sensor temporarily unavailable.
    2 start stop require service.
3 rear wiper not working when selecting reverse gear.
Cleared all settings in car to factory setting issues not rectified appears to be a software issue therefore contacted Volvo and booked in to be checked very strange.
Unable to comment on service and repair costs as I have a service plan.
