Had fault after fault. Broke down with engine fault. Needed a new fuel pump. Then had 3 separate issues with fuel leaking. Definitely selling it before the 3 year warranty is up I just don’t trust the thing. Fuel saving stop start system has also never worked on it. I would urge anyone not to buy this car unless it is in warranty or else you could have expensive repaired on your hands.

Bought used in 2015 with 60k … Ran it for 5 years ending on 110k .
Had most of the common 208 faults , including cracked catalyst
Original clutch changed at 100k .
Be aware these engines have a “wet timing belt” replacement due at 120k which is not cheap and I found Most garages won’t touch it Most recommend changing at 80k , ..
As for driving , it’s a great handles well , easily avg 50mpg+.with 0 road tax . Although it’s a little underpowered , so better for city driving . Small steering. Wheel is great once you get used to it too .
Practical wide it’s ok for 1 or 2 people would struggle with more than 2 people and luggage .
Overall I probably would buy another peugeot , but a bigger model .
