2018 2.0TDCi Titanium Auto bought new and has done 24,000 miles. Absolutely reliable, only needs service at 24k or 2 year intervals so servicing is cheap.
Fuel consumption is remarkable for the size of car – I can easily get around 50-55 on a run, and over 30mpg towing a 1600kg caravan. Overall fuel consumption for 24k miles is 41.5 of which around 30% or more has been towing.
It swallows all our luggage as well as five people in comfort and tows a caravan. We’ve bben all over England, Scotland and Wales – would we have another – yes, in fact this is the fourth S-Max we’ve had since 2009 they would be hard to be beat for space and comfort
