A wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is adjusted to the lowest position. Damage to a wire may lead to localised scorching and to the seat moving independently, increasing the risk of losing control over the vehicle.
The Volkswagen Amarok models affected by this recall were manufactured between 1 May 2016 and 16 May 2018.
